Psalm 107:1-2

107 Thank the Lord because he is good.
    His faithful love for his people continues for ever.
2 Everyone that the Lord has rescued
    should tell others.
Tell them how he has rescued you
    from the enemy's power.

  1. 107:1 The writer thanks God because he takes care of his people. He remembers how God has helped his people when they pray to him because they are in different kinds of trouble. Verse 6 and verse 8 come again, 3 more times, in this psalm. That helps us to know what the writer wants us to remember: If we have trouble, we should ask God for help. After he has helped us, we should remember to thank him.
